Quick question please reply- braces

So my orthodontist said not to have acidic things so does that mean I can't have lemon in my foods? My mum made a dish and it has a hint of lemon squirted in it, is that alright?

that's definitely fine  mostly it means not superr acidic > such as not straight acids/vinegars but who does that haha.
within food i wouldn't worry abt it, personally i'm not the best at listening to my orthodontist (2years of braces so far :/) and have acidic stuff (and stuff i'm told to avoid) but it hasn't caused me any issues, a lot of it is just making sure its in moderation and not excessive consumption so in foods will be perfectly fine
