Bath Spa University: is it boring?

I really love the campus alongside the course. I feel the university is a perfect fit for me. Although, I’ve heard many people say it’s a boring university with not many activities close by to do and a mediocre nightlife. Apparently flat parties are scarce. This isn’t my main priority, but I’m wondering if the location makes it difficult to do many activities outside of actual university work and small flat socials. It seems like the only thing to do on campus/closeby is the student union. I’ve heard it’s a great university besides this and will probably end up firming regardless, just wondering how these ‘issues’ can be overcome?

Is it as boring as it’s made out to be?
Is there many social events happening?
