Some people never log on, others pass away but their facebook account stays there.

Microsoft and other e-ail brands close down unused accounts.

Will Facebook ever come to this?

It time consuming and costly. It means culling alot of accounts within a time frame. Twitter did it. It took over a year. To get follower loss under control.
