Mathematics advice needed

I can easily do the textbook questions with no issues, however when I do the A-level past papers, the questions are so difficult and different to the textbook. How do I overcome this difficulty?

If you are having difficulties with concepts, then study those concepts. Otherwise keep doing past papers, there's no better way to practice.

Madas maths papers are plentiful and in a level style in case more untimed practice helps you get used to it:
(they have solutions as well with them, but for papers 1 & 2, stick to MP1 & MP2 & SYN from his website; paper 3, i.e. mechs and stats, use the MMS papers)
