Can I apply even though I have been out of work for a long time and I'm in my 30s

You would need to contact each uni you are interested in to see what their recent study requirements are. You also need to think about funding as you already have a degree unless the course you are considering is an ELQ exception. What course do you want to study?

I don’t know what the rules are now but i started an OT BSc degree in 2019 - I was in late 30s and had been a stay at home Mum for 4years following a teaching career. Student finance wouldn’t allow me student finance unless the degree was NHS/health related and in demand if that makes sense, I had a degree and a pgce which Id had prior funding and bursaries for,
My UCAS form was my life experiences & skills/qualities that I felt contributed to my ability to study and be an OT.
