Do step children count as dependents

I have 3 children and 2 step children that mainly live at another address. Do they all count as dependents when filling out student finance? As we do pay child maintenance, clubs and other expenses for them.

Yes, if they are dependant on you then you'd declare them in the relevant section when completing the supporting application. Thanks, Jason
