More context needed, but yes; as soon as a payment is missed, it's late. How 'late' depends on Ts&Cs/contract.
I had my sky phone bill, and basically I know it’s my fault so I’m not saying that. But my DD bounced so they emailed and said they’d retake it again 10 days late which I was fine so it was then taken 10 days late but was reported to my credit file
