Failed year 1 of second degree SFE questions

Hi,

First time posting so apologies if any mistakes are made!

I’m currently studying my first year in mental health nursing as a second degree however I’m being withdrawn due to going over allotted time off allowed due to a multitude of reasons.

My main question is.

As this is my second degree does it work as previous where we get 3 years + 1 for funding so that I can take the year again?
IE am I eligible for student finance tuition/maintenance to retake the first year or is that it for me course wise?

Yes, if this is the first repeat for the exception course you'd be fully funded. Thanks, Jason
