IELTS score

One of the requirements for my uni of choice was a 7 in IELTS with a 7 in each component.
I ended up getting 8.5 in reading, 8.0 in listening, 7.0 in speaking and 6.5 in writing. I missed the mark by 0.5 in writing.
Is there a chance I could still get accepted? Should I write to the uni and ask or should I just retake?

If you send it in they might give you details of a pre-sessional English course if they have one, but it won't be accepted by itself so it may be better to just schedule a retake.
As above - send them your results and see what they say.
They may even accept you with the results you have.
