Views on Manchester.

I have accepted Manchester as my insurance choice, to study Economics and Finance. I was wondering if any current Manchester students could tell me about there highs and lows of their time at Manchester. Also if they know anythinig about th economics department. Thanks alot :biggrin:

Put simply its the best city in the whole country to be a student as there is loads to do and what every hobby/activity/sport you enjoy there will be a club for and its cheaper than London its only real competitor.

Yeah i went on the 2nd for IBFE. I didn't really learn anything but got more info on the exchange schemes. enjoyed the tour but thought the accomodation tours afterwards were a wee bit pointless...i mean we were just allowed to look from the outside.

As much as i'd like to go back on the 13th i just can't be bothered to put the effort into going back considering i'm situated in North Devon...
