Public Relations without a PR degree?
Ok, so basically i've already applied for a degree in Psychology and Journalism (joint hons) and have a firm offer. However, the fact that I took a joint degree maybe kind of reflects the fact that i'm torn in terms of what i actually want to do when i come out of Uni. I think i'm either going to go down the Psychology path, and maybe end up in a hospital (but not neccesarily as a Psychologist per se) or if not, i'd like to go into Public Relations, particularly of the advertising/more creative persuasion. However, will the fact that I don't have a PR/other such businuss degree set me back?
If i have to i'm willing to do extra training after Uni but i'd rather not. Would be great to hear from anyone in the businuss/studying a PR degree!
