Do girls like poetry?

So called 'chick magnets' were the poets of the 19th century according to the london metro today, which I reckon doesn't apply to the modern day poet.

It is a creative field, poetry, one that can encapture audiences if said in the right voice and tone and ofcourse poets are fluent in socialising, they are advanced really.

Wiki defined poetry to be a written piece of prose that has the ability to attract a woman's attention, so I was wondering what your thoughts are?

cheers

Yes I LOVE poetry. I write alot of poems myself!
Personally, yes. Obviously it depends on the style of writing, yada yada.

I would imagine that most girls do, but it's possible that there exists a mad woman somewhere who doesn't.

Depends who's written it for me of course!
I love poetry, but that doesn't mean I like poets. To be honest, I think of them as wishy-washy, effeminate and a bit weedy... major (and untrue) stereotyping there, but what can you do. Also, I would absolutely hate it if someone wrote a poem for me. Or a song. It would just make me criiinge.

Yes, all girls like poetry. No exceptions.
Yes, yes and, erm, yes!
Well this is indeed epic for me,

back in my fruitful years, I was a poet, but I lost that ability after noticing that girls go for rude boys in london. Oh how I've changed.

 Love it.

In answer to the original question, I would love someone to write me a poem. Well, as long as I liked the person and it was a relatively good poem, no forced rhyming or cheesiness, etc.

 I guess I have a very sexist view of male poets... Plus, the only boys I know who can write passable poetry are like that. But I don't really think it's true of all poets, obviously.

Thank you for reading my poems!
Give me 1 week, 1 week and I'll write a poem so deep, so moving that you will never have read such a piece nor will you ever get the chance to read such a piece.

English degree courses generally have a higher percentage of female applicants than male.

Dear Ladies,

I myself am a professional poet. I co-wrote 'the uncomplicated, simple duo' with my friend who is a philisopher from Jesus College, Cambridge. Our poetry is basically romantic farce exaggerating the whimsical ways of those peripherial to the moral boundaries of intrinsic fortea. From experience, i have found my luck with ladies to be largely positively impacted by my poetry. Ladies tend to be rather vulerable to the creative tongue and imaginative soul. If anyone wants a copy of some of my poetry (short or long), just personally message me. I will be happy to enlighten you into my paradoxical and mysterous realms. Good luck

Cheers
