Can you use SunTan Lotion On a Sun Bed?

Hey I'm going on Holiday pretty sooon and I want a tan cos I'm WELL pastey,
I'm thinking of using a Sun Bed, but to eliminate the risks I thought I might use some sun tan lotion.
Does anyone know if this is allowed and which are the best ones to use?

I wouldn't recommend using normal sun tan lotion. They sell lotions in the sun bed shops that are especially for sun beds and they are meant to help you achieve a nice golden tan.

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I'd recommend getting a fake tan over a sunbed one; that way you'll be tanned without any risks at all! It's what all my friends did last year before they went on holiday, and it meant that they then spent less time sunbathing because they didn't feel pasty-white! More time for doing things & less skin damage.
