I loove archaeology. Really, really well done!!!
It's history for me though, I'm obsessed with history.
I just wish it wasn't so competitive
It's around 1 place for every 10 applications in most unis & you need A*AA A-level to get in (as you probably know).
Even with all distinctions in an access course I'm really going to struggle to stand out. I have no doubt I can do it, I'm confident of that much, just not confident of getting in to where I want to study (I really want to apply to UCL, Warwick, York, Leeds & Manchester. I initially wanted to apply to Durham but after finding out that you only receive their bursary if you're living in their halls, I had discount it).
I keep thinking that, realistically, I need to apply to the lower universities to stand a chance of getting in anywhere, but none of their courses interest me, plus if I'm going to move my whole family to where I'm studying (eventually) then I really want to make it worthwhile.
Oh woe is me
I am ridiculously excited about starting the access course though! Not even got a definite place anywhere but I'm still excited, haha.
