Hi! I stayed in Northfield last year and I wouldn't say it was really that far away. I lived in the furthest block right at the back and never had an issue. Although it can be a bit of a pain if you're wanting to get on the train as the station is on the other side of campus, and it definitely isn't the closest to the main part of campus (that would be swanborough), the campus is not too big so getting too and from places is never an issue!
