You cannot choose to be from a country; hence it is pointless being patriotic.

The British society and the British gov are not the same. Even the British society has hated the British government and monarchy. Why are people letting news propaganda get them to hate an entire country is beyond me.

Having an issue with stop and search is irrelevant to the average brit. Brits aren't randomly stopping and searching, the police are.

Lol at you getting angry, and once again, I said you're coming off like a closet racist, which in the end means racist and tiptoeing around it.
So you then proceeded to insult Jamaicans, Chinese, Indians all in one go while you still scream at me to explain racism
Oh and even better, you said Brits play the race card, didn't your silly arse? Ye you did. So in that case, you insulting Brits ...is racist.

I think you're severely misinformed as to what the premise of socialism is. There are nearly 30 examples of fascism elicited in the modern world, however you may be focusing upon Nazism and Italian unification - both portraying their ideas as 'socialist' at some point.
The idea that there is Fascist socialism has severe limitations - anti-communist thinking is much more prolific than anti-capitalism in fascism, particularly as fascist economic organisation has always been vague and inconsistent (note the overriding idea that fascism cannot be pinned down to absolute values.)
Fascism has time and time again sought to seduce the working classes, extolling misguided values of cooperation and equality - socialist ideas - dedicating their movements to national unity, with the allegiances of race and nation to be stronger than those of social class (the core theme of socialism).
Hope this informs you properly of the nature of fascism and the inability to call it, in its entirety, socialist. The proponents are always overwhelmingly nationalist - a conservative, right-wing ideology.

It's sad that the education system has failed so miserably with you, you truly are an absolute moron. How can you not recognise the privilege that you have living in the UK? The police you hate so much keep you safe, you're well fed, have clean water, Internet, a welfare system to fall back on, some of the best health care in the world for free, freedom to practice any religion...There are no other countries that offer such a good standard of life for doing so little than this one, so stop being such a stupid **** and appreciate it.

**** the police mane
**** the queen and her ****ed up system
Saying you like your own country doesn't automatically make you racist. No logic to that statement whatsoever.

There's no point in being patriotic.

Why would one want to be proud of being British or whatever your demonym is, because you did not choose to be born there, you did not take some big test that you should boast about on the rooftops.

Every time I see someone identity as a patriot, I cringe. Not only has patriotism not just become being proud of one's country (which is stupid as explained above)
it's become a code word for the phrase "I'm a closet racist". Note that I immediately stop taking any person who says that seriously.

What are your thoughts
Nobody takes you seriously anyway so why bother posting?

That's rather like saying you can't choose your parents so you shouldn't love them. Besides, although you don't choose your country, you contribute to it economically through working, politically through voting, and financially through tax. You also benefit from it through security, community services, healthcare, entitlements and numerous other things. So you have a very large stake in it and you have a big incentive to change it in a way that suits you. And not just on an individual basis but also on a collective basis: your community, your industry of work, your interests and concerns, are all governed and regulated by the national government to some extent, so they demand that you take an active role in your country's fuctioning.

And on the world stage, all of these things feed into the actions and effects your country has internationally, either through passive influence or through active steps taken to defend your country's interests, as well as to fight for causes, concerns, problems and opportunities that it believes are worth fighting for. As an individual, and as a member of a larger community, industry or interest group, your only real way to influence the wider phenomena which affect your life or which you care about are through your national government, either directly through voting and writing to yoru MP, or indirectly through non-state actors (charities, corporations, pressure groups) which must carry out their activities according to the regulations and at least partially through the voice of a national government.

So in short, real patriotism is not about being proud of things in which you played no part, it is about looking after your own interests, fighting for causes you care about, and looking out for other human beings in general. And seen this way, it is rather silly to try to 'opt-out' of the global system of sovereign states which is the very foundation of the world we live in.

If you really hate Britain and all the benefits of living here, then why not leave? Luckily being a British citizen makes it rather easy to **** off somewhere else.

Well if you're not financially strong, then lucky for you that the British state will provide significant support until the time comes that you are finally financially able and are able to leave.

And as for the Queen, I don't see any real reason to hate her. Not only does she bring money into the country via tourism, she performs many duties for Britain and is an icon for the nation. What has she done to deserve your hatred?

It wasn't her choice to be born as a Royal though. Surely by your own logic, you can't hate someone because of the family they were born in to, which is purely by chance and nothing they had a choice in?

Your reasoning is flawed.
