AS Level Advice. Please Help!!!

In AS physics if I get a low grade on paper one such as a C or a D, and I get an A on the second paper, will that boost my overall grade or are the papers assessed differently? Same with maths, If I get 2 C's on C1 and C2 but get an A on S1, will that boost my overall Grade?

Btw the Exam Boards are Edexcel for Maths and AQA for Physics. Thanks

Yes of course it will, as the UMS marks for each paper are added together and converted to an overall grade for each subject.
