I put that but im not sure if it will be accepted, probably not )':.

Fingers crossed then. They usually accept unsimplified answers if its not stated that they have to be simplified. Either way its still an exact value which was the idea of the question.
didn't question 18 ask for a mixed number

did anyone else get 37.5cm for the varnish question? as it was not enough varnish cos she needs 50cm^2 but has 37.5cm^2

Yea, that's really all you needed to do. Lots of other ways to do it as well though.

I think I got around 57-58 marks what would that be roughly? and do you think that the grade boundaries will be lower because people have found this hard?

not many people found it that hard mate, it was a pretty average paper so boundaries will probs be slightly higher than 80 A* 70A 60B etc

These are ROUGH grade boundaries;
A* ~ 78/100
A ~ 63/100
B ~ 48/100
C ~ 33/100

i'd say they'll be higher than that

Im sure it was 70 m2 for the whole area of that shape

You did 6*10 + 2(2.5*2), but you didn't take into account that the entire height was 6M, so you need to take away 2m from the rectangles height

It could be? These are just rough estimations

They will be higher. and a grade C

For one paper not both, i'd imagine a middle B as out of both paper (last year) to get a c was only 62 and a B was 98.
i got 63, can i still get an A* overall?

student room garde boundaries are always usually wrong. The A* for this will probs be mid 80 as it wasnt too bad. I got 81% with harsh marking

You would basically need full marks on the calc and to pray for low boundarys.

You'd have to ace the calc and hope for a nice low boundary.
What would 30 marks approximately be as a grade?
What are the grade boundaries?
