Depends wherebaouts you are going.- dont go near the border amd aboid the major cities plus demonstrations. Holiday destinations been ok. Still more chance of being run over or involved in a car accident.

As long as you're not going near the Syrian border, you'll be fine. (Remember, the parts of Turkey where most tourists go is as far away from the Syrian border as London is from Barcelona)

I still would. Probably a higher chance of being involved in an attack than in the western reaches of Europe, and here it's relatively high. Still the roads are far more dangerous.
I'd go to Istanbul in a heartbeat. Far too good a city to not go to.
