more likely to occupy land before the Kurds get there. turkey hasnt bothered to do anything about IS for last 3 years, doubt they are bother now

This will almost certainly turn out to be an anti-kurd maneuver. Turkey has so far been ambivalent towards ISIS, at best.

The US and Erdogan has forced the Kurds to abandon the strategic city of Manbij the liberated only 2 wks ago and hand it back to ISIS. Unfortunately Kurds are now leaving the city and its population back to the peril of ISIS.

Daesh units are now planning an assault to retake the city.
The US whose main objective is the removal of Assad no doubt wants these Daesh supply routes reopened so that Daesh can win its war against Assad. Daesh has lost Palmyra to Assad forces and blames that on the Kurds blocking supply routes with Turkey.
Secondly the US wants to keep Turkey happy. Doesnt matter about the tragedy and genocide about to unfold when Manbij is retaken by Daesh
Sometimes I think we'd be better leaving NATO and joining with Russia.

If the SDF do leave manbij it would be FSA fighters taking the city and not ISIS.

Manbij and most of that area was under FSA control until ISIS took over in 2014. In any case FSA comprises of groups like Al Nusra front and Al Quaeda so not a lot better than ISIS.

Reason for this and any other civilians which have been caught in these strikes is due to Russia dropping unguided munitions (FAB-250) from the TU-22M Backfire which is what they are using to conduct the strikes

NATO, Turkey and the US would rather support ISIS than support the Kurds.
2 weeks ago Manbij was liberated to the delight and relief of its residents who'd enjured 2 years of torture, beheadings etc. These atrocities were being investigated by the YPG until the US and Turkey forced them to leave the city. Now these crimes will never be investigated and the residents of Manbij will soon be back to living under the ordeal of ISIS
The US and NATO has chosen to support Daesh because they've seen how the Kurds have weakened the Daesh resulting in Daesh losing places like Palmyra to regime forces. By forcing the Kurds out the Daesh are better able to topple Assad.
You mention the tragedy of that poor boy in Allepo I don't condone such indiscriminate bombings, but we have seen this because western media is allowed into Allepo.
Nobody Knows what's happening in cities like Raqqa or what will happen in Manbij and the land that the Kurds has been forced to hand back to Daesh. We know kids as young as 7 being taught to become suicide bombers, whole families being sentenced to gruesome deaths for not obeying unreasonable orders, or committing crimes such as smoking or not praying at the right time, people being burnt alive, homosexuals being thrown off buildings. The sick market of shrunken heads from beheading victims. Yazidis girls as you as 10 being used as sex slaves. That's what life is like under Daesh and that's what happened in places like Manbij.
The US has chosen to let the Kurds down and demand they leave the cities and land they liberated.
Sure Russia does bad things but if we want to fight the Daesh NATO is not the answer. The same NATO that destroyed Libya.

Between 2011 and 2014 the FSA was the only opposition to Assad. The west was arming the FSA. Foreign jihdists from places like Tunisia, Czech Republic, Afghanistan, Britain, Indonesia etc were joining the FSA and many of these broke away to form ISIS. It was like a Trojan horse. All of a sudden many areas occupied by FSA changed to ISIS without any battles because they were already there.
Raqqa the Daesh capital was an FSA city before 2013 it just happened that the majority of FSA members were foreign jihadists rather than Syrian born rebels whose aim was creating the caliphate rather than freedom for Syria.
