French police tell woman to remove her burqini

Armed police in France have told a woman at a beach wearing a burkini- a garment worn by some Muslim women at the beach- after the ban was placed earlier this month.

The police have a duty to ensure that the law is being followed.

I personally think the law itself is stupid- people should wear what they want as long as it doesn't cover the face and therefore makes someone unidentifiable- but a police officer has to follow the law.
It's sexual assault if I told someone to take off their clothes.
If you come here you should assimilate into our culture. If you want to wear a Burkini, go to a Muslim country.

What a hateful, bigoted law. As long as they don't blow up, I'm fine with them wearing what they want.

Y'en a marre.
If I wore a uniform which suggested I might be a Nazi, I'd probably have to remove it in public too.
