An enzyme in some bacteria catalyses the linking together of polymer chains in their cell walls. This makes the cell wall strong.

Can someone explain this question to me? you don't have to properly answer the question, I'd rather do it myself but I don't get the question.

The question is saying that the enzyme helps in the building up process of the polymer chains
