I was surprised they could be profitable. Very user unfriendly, offers loads of easy to exploit deal. Dreadful odds which would scare normal punters away.

Someone on another forum was saying they had a deal running where people would get up to £100 free bets if England beat Russia. So imagine the shitstorm they would have been in if England won!

£60 in there. Trying to reclaim it via VISA chargeback through my bank.
Don't you just love it when pokerstars offer you an email exclusive bet 50 get 50 for no reason, and then also throw in a random 35 free bet for no reason?! And this is a week after one of my £5 free bets won at odds of 27.0 and a mug acca came in!

You're special

*sulks in the corner*

I'm only on Coral and Lads inplays today/tomorrow.... bit light on the money side of things currently!

Very nice!

Ladbrokes keep sending me £10 risk free casino every week.. no idea what I did to trigger it.

Make just over £1.8k last month. Slow start to this month though so hoping it picks up.
lost bet365 :frown:

not surprised though, made a lot of money from them the past few months. even most of my mug bets/straight up punts actually won money haha so i knew it was only a matter of time.

anyone had any success with making a second account?
Obviously hitting a streak of good variance. Just checked and all 3 of my horses yesterday finished 2nd
Nice £75 worth of free bets for today on top of £20 of inplays with coral and lads :biggrin::biggrin:

Get the feeling my bet365 account will be getting gubbed soon as my qualifier and inplay were both on Wales at odds of 5.0. Can't imagine they'll be pleased with me winning £400 with them even if I had been on a nice losing streak with them on the horses recently
Fuark missed the paddy then France score five goals. ..

Has anyone tried the betstars bet and spin? Did it 10 times, £10 each time, and 3/10 landed on 1.5. Layed all the bets so didn't made minimal loss. not sure if b365 is doing their offer tomorrow:/

I tried it for a free bet, but the bet and spin can't be profitable on it's own surely? The expected odds (when you factor in the probability of each boosted odds) are done in such a way that the expected payoff is pretty much exactly the same as a normal bet.

By this, I mean I took the example of:

Odds 11.0, stake £10

So a normal bet that wins returns £110 (£100 in winnings)

The expected odds of the bet and spin are 12.221, but the stake is reduced to £9
So the return from this is £109.989 (£99.989 in winnings)

Even if you assumed matches of 98% I can't see how it is profitable

Edit: on the bet365, I doubt they'll do another one so soon. EVERYONE on another forum I'm on used their free bet at half time on Wales at odds 5.0, and loads will have used Wales as their qualifier. If 5,000 people chose Wales at 5.0 at half time as their risk free bet (not an outrageous figure given how many people matched bet these days, plus your average punter would have Home nation bias), that's 4*50*5000= £1,000,000 I would estimate that they lost from running that deal. Obviously it will be lower factoring in other peoples bets, but Wales winning will have cost them a ****ing ton I reckon.

Unfortunately i didnt do the b365 on friday :/ Did you opt in and did you also put it on Wales or a safe MB?

For the bet and spin, they only do it for specific markets and matches.
I did it on the Germany match on thurs, and chose a draw which was 3/3.1.
If you put £10, you stake £9. If the spin lands on 1, you lose £-1-0.46 = £-1.46
If it lands on 1.5, you win £4.32-1 = £3.32

Overall it's not worth it, just another shjtty marketing practice
Hey guys, I started matched betting a month ago and have made £700 profit already! Just wanted to ask if anyone recommended a matched betting website to join? Im currently with oddsmonkey, but was considering maybe trying profit accumulator out? Wanted to know if any of you guys had an opinion on PA since you all sound so experienced haha

I like it. I have tried profit accumulator an profit maximiser, but have found the former to be much more user friendly and overall more sociable.

They do a free trial, so maybe do that before deciding.
anyone reckon they'll be some good offers for the final on sunday?

www.comparematchedbetting.co.uk put oddsmonkey top for advanced. They are great for the software they provide. Profit maximiser not as slick but a great facebook community of around 7,000 people.

If you're looking for everything PA does but without paying http://www.bankofbets.com/forum is brilliant. You can skip the invite code wall by going straight to http://www.bankofbets.com/register
Hey guys I want to get into matched betting - after seeing my mate earn 100s of pounds a week during the Euros from it - and have the cash to get started. Should I begin with an automated site (eg Oddsmonkey) until I understand it better or dive straight in with manual?
