People like and are good at different things, it wouldn't bother me at all. Stop worrying
You're putting way too much thought into this.

People probably won't care. Stop worrying.
Well seeing as media relates to film I think you're worrying over something which doesn't exist.

No one will judge you for what A Levels you have done, what matters is where you are now and how you approach your degree.

Take pride in what you've done, different strokes different folks. =]
Uni life does not equal TSR's general views. Don't worry.
No, I would rather people be honest and themselves. I'm opened minded so wouldn't like the thought of someone lying to me about their A Levels and degree just in case I didn't think they were worth anything and I would think less of you if you felt like you had to hide the subjects you obviously enjoy doing

This was exactly what I was going to say, and I agree with the rest as well. Don't worry

This is a nice post, and I have no intention of hiding my academic interests. I guess it's just the general, ignorant views I've seen on TSR. Maybe I shouldn't take that stuff to heart so much, seems pretty obvious now...
Just to play devils advocate:

Surely people will say "and what are you going to do with a degree in film and english?" if you can justify it, I'm sure no one will be able to look down on your degree choice!

Well, just, imagine, if someone would tell you he/she did Drama. What would you think? Would you really give a ****?
I'd ask a persons a levels. But I think its there attitude to what they are studying that i focus on the most. For example if they are doing art and were really passionate about it I'd respect them. If they were doing quantum mechanics and hated it... I'd want to throw them in the bin. It's you ,not your course.

Hardly anyone will care TBH. Most people will just ask about A-Levels because they're nervous and can't think of anything else. Seriously, I really doubt anyone will judge you and if they did, they'd be a massive prick.

You'll fine.
No normal person would not want to be friends with you based on your A levels.

Quite a few people at uni hate their course.
People at Uni ask what A levels you have done? :s-smilie:

I would suspect so,I was speaking generally. There's this daft girl at our school that loves english and art and is really good at it but thinks she needs to do pharmacy? She said she hates science....

No. After much consideration and finally realisation that Medicine, as a course and a profession was not something I wished to pursue, I left it to apply for PPE. Why would that automatically make me an idiot?
Don't worry! no-one will really be like that, and if they are, do you really want to be friends with them?? you don't socialise with people based on their grades!
