Is uni hard? Are tests hard? Be honest

Thx!

Obviously every degree is different but it is a bit step up from college. There’s a lot of essays assignments exams etc. sometimes you have 3 essays due in at one time and you just need to manage your time well. I think another aspect of uni that’s hard is loneliness. Whether you live at home or on campus. You either miss your family, or feel like you’re missing out on uni life.

In my experience - probably less difficult than A-level. I study chemistry, so it’s not exactly easy, but I just feel like topics are introduced more gradually and obviously much more thoroughly than for A-level, which make them easier to understand.

You definitely do need good time management skills and the motivation to study independently though, or you will be screwed.
The jump up from GCSE to A-Level is more significant than the jump up from A-Level to uni. At least in my experience. Other subjects / students might tell you differently though.
