I wear toric lenses, coz i have a stigmatism, and i wear mine in the shower all the while and have never ever had a problem, even go swimming in them. You shouldnt sleep in them (obviously!) but i can wear mine for long periods of time (i put a new pair in about every 4 months) - i put them in at 10.30 this morning and will be wearing them till prob 3.30 in mornin! But then again i suppose it depends on the lenses!
