403 Forbidden Error

Need help please! How do I get around this without changing the proxy on Firefox and messing up the internet settings for my computer? I can't figure it out :frown:

Can it be done? It's not a bad site, it's a gaming clan site.

hmmm, that looks like some weird thing on their end, though it could be that the firewall is blocking the site due to it being dodgy or something...

but i ce ping it and tracert to it... so it should work... yet i cannot connect, and im on backbone... [aka staff net, aka very few restrictions...] may be lancaster itself is banned from the servers... :s-smilie:

There normally is a way around 403 errors through the proxy but seeing as I had to change the proxy when setting up my computer to the internet I don't really want to mess about with it. Is the a Lancaster University computer forum type requests and advice thing? :/
