Just make a parenthetical note such as "(Used x program on graphing calculator.)" I can't be absolutely certain this is correct, but I've seen it in some of the mark schemes as what counts as an "acceptable" answer.

Hello!

My calc math SL paper is coming up, I remember that if i use my calculator to work something out i.e the intercepts, my teacher said i had to explicitly state the program used.
Anyone advised the same?

but what do i have to say?? something like I USED MY CALCULATOR?

Thanks

best wishes to all!

I'd imagine stating the equation used (e.g. P(X=r)= ...) and saying 'using a GDC' would be enough to get you the mark.

This. You need to show not only that you know how to put the right numbers into a calculator but also an equation to show understanding. It's an hour and a half; you have loads of time so show your work to some extent as well!
