On Benefits - eligable for OU Financial Support?

Hi,

I'm currently claiming banefits - ESA - and not working.

Would I be able to get them to pay for this 60 point course I want to do in 2011?

Anyone else been in this situation? I would qualify for a disability allowance, and low income support, I reckon.. but how does it work? What do I need to do?

Though your profile says you have a degree already. That will be a problem I think.

Yeah if you already have a degree you probably won't be able to get any financial support. This might differ if you are in receipt of DSA though. You're best off contacting them directly to have a chat - they are very helpful.

To get financial support you sign up for a course and tick the option stating that you think you may be eligible for it. They would then send you some forms to fill in.
