What subject is this?
Thinking about applied mathematics mech or stats (I already have an A in A-level PC1-4 and FP1/2), physics, computing and business studies.

Not sure which one(s) I will do, keeping options open for now
If thinking applied i would reccomend stats- at least it hass textbooks. On the flipside though, you did do physics so that would make mechanics more easier to understand.

Any idea if it is acceptable to do both applied mech and stats? I realise there is a fair bit of crossover.

No- the exams are at the same time and unit 3 is the same for both courses.
I've self studied (to a large extent) mechanics, it's easy enough just to use an A level textbook and look for the relevant material using the SQA course documents. Why do you want to do this after having left school?
To get into uni in 2011
