can someone explain to me what clearing is?

Do i have to be on ucas to use clearing?

Hi guys, I did'nt apply for uni but can i still get in using clearing. I am not on ucas. I don't have a grant please help?

Clearing and Applications Advisor

You can only use Clearing if you apply first through UCAS - using ucas apply, filling in the form in full, getting a reference (or at least a referee) and paying your fee.

Alternatively a uni can accept you directly at this time of year using a RPA form (stands for Record of Prior Acceptance) - but not all unis are willing to do this (worth ringing up anyone you are interested in and asking.

Once you find a place you need to fill in your loan/fee loan applicatin asap (but get in somewhere first instead of filling in a form for no reason)
