Do universities care about O Level english results? :S

I hope to do engineering.. and i got a C for O Level GCE English :woo:

will it help much if i resit?
and also im an international student

You need to look at the entry requirements of individual universities that you're interested in - it should say on the website (I would assume that if they ask for a C at GCSE, this would be equivilant to a C at O level).

Also, you say that you're an international candidate. Is your first language English? If not, the English requirement might be a little bit lower, as it is a foreign language to you, and you should check the entry requirements for English for international students. This should give you a list of different English language qualifications and the results you need in them.

As a general rule though, as a C is a pass, you would be fine applying to most places, assuming your other grades met the requirements. Hope this has been helpful.
