whats illustration and graphic design like ?

I am considering applying to Lincoln to do Illustration with Graphic design.
I think combining the two makes for a more employable graduate then just one or the other, but is that actually true ?

any way I enjoy both and am just wandering does Lincoln have a
good/bad/any reputation at all for Illustration or Graphic design?

what are the courses and facilities like ?

I am also considering applying to Brighton because of its reputation for Illustration grads but they dont offer the joint degree like Lincoln
