What was the last film you watched Mk. II

Whether you think cinema died with Hitchcock or only got good once Michael Bay started blowing up helicopters, this is the place where moving pictures are discussed.

Last film I watched was Notes on A Scandal. Unbelievable performances from the two leads, brave filmmaking by casting someone of actual school age as well - 8/10.

Mk II, as in Mortal Kombat II?

I remember catching the flu a year ago, severe enough to keep me in bed for thereabout a week. I had this brilliant idea of seeing all the MK flicks, in order.

...only made me feel worse tbh...God-awful.

On topic though; last film I saw was Ip Man. Really, really good Kung-Fu flick. SEE IT! 8/10.

Boyz n the hood - A dramatic and purely sick film, with stunning performances all around, a great cast and the super charismatic Laurence Fishburne. Plus, 'just me and you' features, which makes it all the more great. 9.5/10.

    Four Lions

Funniest movie I've seen in years!
There's so many lines I can pick out that had me in stitches

"let's bomb boots coz they sell condoms that make you wanna bang white girls"

"absolute idiots! you could've gone chicken cottage, proper halal, bargain bucket.....6.99!"

"Can I have 12 bottles of bleach please?"

these lines must read unfunny but for those who've seen it will know how funny they are given the context :yep:

    10/10!

a film's a film mate, altho only certain people will know what you're on about. (same could be said for the random foreign movies that pop up from time to time tho)
