hey
so i got this problem,,im awfull with fractions but good in everything else, i know this may sound stupid but i've been through out my school years tried to avoid Fractions,
but it seems it has cought upto me. I'm worrying about it now since im doing A level maths.
i need some good ideas on how to get good at them.

I think you need to go to your local library and take out some GCSE maths books and work through the exercises.
This is the order I would suggest:
Equivalent fractions
Simplifying fractions
Changing a mixed number into an improper fraction
Changing an improper fraction into a mixed number
Finding a fraction of a quantity
Multiplying fractions
Reciprocals
Dividing fractions
Adding and subtracting fractions by finding a common denominator
Adding and subtracting fractions by cross-multiplying
Manipulating algebraic fractions
Solving equations involving algebraic fractions
This is the order I would suggest:
