Acknowledgement from Nottingham

Has anyone received an acknowledgement email from University of Nottingham yet?
And for any older students, do they usually reply this slowly and when can I expect to receive an offer? (Does it depend on the department, or is it the admissions office?)

Everyone received an acknowledgement a few days after the UCAS application has been sent.
It's usually depend on the course that you've applied for.
I remember that last year some people were waiting until March.
Though, some people have already received some offer. Check other threads.

I have applied to Nottingham for Jan 2011 and it took 6 weeks to receive acknowledgement that they had received my application and then a further 2 weeks to receive a letter to attend a selection day. I've applied for Nursing though, so not sure how quick other departments are.
