Red nails look classy if done properly.

Your nails musn't be too short or too long. They should be well filed and the red shouldn't be a blinding scarlet. A deeper red is nice.

The length of the pic attached is my ideal length.

Personally I've never liked red nail varnish.. or red lipstick. People who wear it never have the overal look for it, it's like they're trying to be sophisticated while wearing a hoodie and jeans. I prefer the pink with french white tip, I think it looks sophistiocated but also casual, win/win.
