Any suggestions for a new camera?

I really want to buy a new camera - something that I can easily carry on a daily basis. I just like taking photos of random stuff i see on a day to day basis. I was looking for something as high quality as possible preferably under £200, any suggestions?

You'll easily get a high end compact (10 - 12 megapixels) for that price - I presume that as you want to carry it around on a daily basis, we're not talking DSLR - and you wouldn't get one for £200 anyway.

My best advice would just to be to go somewhere like Jessops and ask for recommendations - they can give you the technical spec and such.
