Journalism Interview

I've applied to do Journalism at university and have been given an offer at three places, but at the University of Gloucestershire I've got to attend an interview. Just wondering whether other people have had to have an interview for Journalism and if so, what sort of things happen in it? Thanks.

Just make sure that you're up to date with all of the news. That means buying a paper, and watching shows like newsnight etc...

They'll no doubt ask you questions about the latest news and you'll need to be able to show that you have an interest in order to get an offer.

It might help to know what you would like to be doing after finishing your degree, I was asked this once at a Journalism interview and just couldn't answer, I ended up looking like an idiot :frown:
