I second that question.

Isn't it a path? :s-smilie:
All the definitions are in the Edexcel book. =/
I have yet not seen any scheduling coming up in the new spec. papers. =/ Hopefully it won't come up! I'd be doomed if it were and definitions AND the whole 'twice as many x as y' rubbish. =/

Walk-A path where it is permitted to visit vertices more than once
Does anyone have a method to figure this out?

'They will sell at least twice as many apples as bananas.' Where a is apples, b is bananas.

Normally I would say 2a is greater than or equal to b but the answer is a is greater than or equal to 2b. But how?? :cry2: I have never understood this!

Does a semi Eulerian graph have one or 2 odd vertices?

Also, just a random question. On the exam papers for the matching questions, they usually give one or two empty matching diagrams. Are you marked on these or are you meant to use them to help you??

If your marked, what do you need to put usually your improved matching after 1st part normally and final matching??

I personally use it for my improved matching as it helps in finding another breakthrough and then I put the complete matching at the end separately.

Best way to do it I find is say

2A=B, if you sell one apple, you need to sell 2 bananas.

A=2B, if you sell one banana, you need to sell 2 apples.

So you use A=2B one as, you need twice as many apples.

Make any sense??

 You made my day! :hugs:

If you look at the previous page I have explained it to someone else on there.
I probably should've started trying to learn past chapter 3 by now seeing as the exam's tomorrow.
Ooo I'm really happy now, the only thing that I am not so great on is scheduling now.

With the binary search I've noticed in the mark scheme that they don't do n+1/2 but rather (first number + last number)/2

Just look at the gantt chart because that's always in the same question. then look at the float and try to minimise the amount of workers as much as possible.
