non integer values were 60/17 and 120/17

agree
Original post by sangeen yahya
it only asked for the optimum x and y values lol and the question after it wanted intger values for x and y

the interger value, i think i wrote (7,3) coz i coz x=7.05 or something and y=3.something
Original post by hyn_shayan
I don't think they asked for integers? Just optimum values?

They did ask for integers.
7 didnt fit the constrasints, you had to point test each constraint (6,4)was the best one

Yep I also got that. (120/17, 60/17) for non integer values. (I can't remember which one was the bigger x or y). 22 for critical path length. 71 for Dijkstra's first path length. No cycles for tree. Tree including all vertices at the minimum length possible for minimum spanning tree. Kim was 7th. 120km for first route inspection, 106km for second.

Can't remember much else, sorry!

I think I did this too, but I think it's wrong.

I'm afraid (6, 4) was a better integer solution.

If you put (6,4) into the Constraint equation you aren't in the required region though, I checked this both graphically and calculated it too.

****!
So how did people find this exam in general?

Correct
you are in the graphical reigon lol, did u not see where R was

Correct

so did you get 24.7.... as your profit?

and then in the second part your round the y and x values down and get 24?
No it asked for x and y values only i think but even so the optimum value was like 22 as an integer i think if u used the optimum integers

I stupidly forgot to work out the profit :/

I'm pretty sure it was!
Are we getting a mark scheme today?

i think it only wanted x and y values i remmember clearly saying just x and y values

apparently everyone hates d1, so I'm guessing no!

What do yout think grade boundaries for this exam will like?

See for you critical path, what numbers did u get in each boxes?
The 20%, 40% constraint, I got 0.2(X+Y+Z)<X<0.4(X+Y+X)
Anyone else get this? Or the spit up version?
