What did you talk about?

Trying to remember my notes x)

- Largely unregulated
- Children have access to unsuitable content (sexual, violent images etc)
- Anonymity
- Chatrooms/grooming/paedophiles
- Cyberbullying
- Piracy
- Privacy
- Freedom of speech/information
- Censorship
- Storing of sensitive personal data - mentioned the PSN hack and leaking of credit card numbers
- Companies selling personal details to 3rd parties, spam etc.
- Teleworking impacting on family life and rural communities
- E-Commerce affecting 'real life' retail, loss of jobs etc.

There was some other stuff, but my mind is filled with English Language terminology atm :biggrin:

i wrote a everything i knew with the internet, wish i covered censorship, and that no one owns the internet :frown:

i wrote about the following:
- emailing
- ecommerce
- all of the social issues, moral issues and ethical issues
- the effects on the community +ve and -ve effects
- communicating all around the world
- cyberbullying
- obesity
- gaming addictions
- gambling addictions
- putting up false information webpages
- viruses/hacking etc
- chatrooms
- access to in apropriate materials e.g. pornography
- plagarism
and probably more, but just cant think atm as i am sooo angry at my self for missing out on the censorship and ownership of the internet bit urgh!

Thanks, but you know how the examiners are picky :'(. It frustrates me lol. I put sooo much more than that list, for that question i wrote about 5 pages! and i just couldnt stop :s-smilie:

! But still though wish i put censorship and ownership, because its the main bits in the A2 text book :/

What grades do you need to get into your first choice? (assuming you're going to Uni, that is)
Also, do you know your coursework mark?
If you've written 5 pages about the stuff you've listed, I can't see them giving you any less than 12 marks really...

i wrote more points than what i mentioned above btw with examples, lol, i really hope i get 12 like you said :/, well i need a BBB and i got 80 on the coursework :biggrin:

so i only need 70 ums marks on this paper which equates to 52 on the paper :smile:

I basically left the 6 marker about corrective, adaptive, perfective maintenance. As you say, mind went totally blank >_<

I sat the exam today (aswell as DT3 in the afternoon :frown:

) thought they were pretty nice questions. I was torn between the last two Q's but decided to go for relational db's my mind had a bit of a spasm at the end though and for the database warehouse definition i did a half and half description of that and DBMS lol.
