Mechanical engineering - high fliers, scholarships and bursaries?

Just finished my first year in mech eng.

I got my results from my tutor before leaving.
He told me that because I'd done so well I'm more than likely eligible for the "high fliers scheme", and then briefly mentioned something about bursaries and scholarships?
He did say I'd automatically be entered for them, so will I just get an email in several months time saying "Yeah you've been entered for this" or is there a way of finding out earlier?

So my question is... Where can I find information on any of these? I've tried looking through the "My school" tab on the portal.

Also, I'm asking on here because my tutor has a tendancy to not answer emails from students :confused:
