How Flexible are manchester with course changing?

A mate of mine was looking to change his course from Business studies and politics to business studies and economics both are ABB, if he contacts them on results day would this be possible? anyone changed courses at manchester in the past?

lol I've changed courses about 5 times it depends on whether or not the course you wanna change to is full or not and if you've got the grades like.

In the humanities section I know they are extremely flexible. It's worth asking definitely.
