Bristol vs UCL engineering MSc

Hi guys, so here's the deal. I just finished my Beng in mech engineering at King's College. Now I applied to UCL and Bristol for MSc in mech engineering. Which one to pick? I know that Bristol is better for engineering. I heard some harsh stuff about the engineering division for UCL, is it any better for MSc? I just went through the closing of King's engineering division and my overall experience as to teaching quality at King's was rather poor.
So is UCL gonna be similar in terms of teaching or is it gonna be better? I actually want to learn some proper stuff to give me an edge when looking for a job.

Also UCL is 1k more expensive than Bristol. Halp?

Oh and PS: On Bristol's mech engineering MSc page it says that there are 20 places for the course, that means that the course is very competitive right? I'm also leaning towards aerospace engineering, how would it look if I submitted the second app for aerospace engineering to Bristol?

Thanks
