Modern Warfare 3 society

I hate messing around with classes in lobby so I just set mine so I have something ready for whatever map comes up. Think my 6 at the moment are:
P90
Striker
MP7
Type95
Scar L
L118

I pretty much have the same perk set up on every class aswell.
Sleight of hand
Quickdraw/hardline
SteadyAim/Dead Silence

Then just mix the strike packages between assault and specialist.

Most of my classes are shotguns at the moment because I am trying to get gold camo with them all but they're normally pretty dynamic. I just use whatever I feel like using.

Normally they're quite dynamic and I just use whatever I feel like using. At the moment I'm using mainly shotguns because I'm trying to get them all maxed before they ruin them by fixing the Extended Mags glitch.

Got the Striker, SPAS-12 and AA-12 so far and currently doing the KSG-12.

Six?! I reached level 80 and didn't fancy prestiging for an extra custom class slot at the expense of challenges and weapons being reset. If I played it, say, 5 hours a day every day then it might be worth it. I have noticed a fair few prestige level 1, level 80 users so may be they have thought the same. Since making my last post I've changed my setup to cater for Dome with UMP45 while the rest are still M4A1, all support streaks with EMP and escort airdrops alternating. I've achieved the escort airdrop a few times a bit too late in the game to make it resourceful, and in a tight game, the EMP will be better I think, plus the escort airdrop takes its time in arriving to my flare. I've altered the perks between Blind Eye/Sleight of Hand Pro and the third perk will depend on the map or how the game goes. I'm hoping to unlock SitRep Pro and Recon Pro. I'm sure there's a glitch with Hardline Pro though because on Outpost I got 23 kills and 2 assists using Hardline Pro and I didn't get the MOAB using the support package. I noticed on my second assist I didn't the message saying two assists count as one kill. Wouldn't mind so much but my team needed it.







Seen this awesome guy on Youtube with a Striker playing Domination (I think) and it would probably be the only one I'd use out of the shotguns. I'm too used to the assault rifles I guess. I pull off quite a few long shots like picking off a sniper in the hotel in Seatown directly ahead of it. No idea how long a shot has to be for it to be classed as a long shot. I stole a sniper from a fallen foe and got a kill half the distance of the map on Bakaara, trying to hide behind one of the cars nearish to the fallen chopper. The only time I've got a kill with one. Beginners luck then.

Got 7 now, going for 10 though.

He messaged me back saying "my KD is higher than yours" to which I replied "who cares? try getting 4 gold shotguns and see what your KD is then."

My KD is 2.33 (fallen from around 2.5 - 2.6 from levelling up shotguns) and his is 2.55. Hardly a massive difference considering he probably camps with his Noob-95 assault rifle every single game. And since he accused me of boosting I wouldn't be surprised if he'd done it himself.

I did think about prestiging in Black Ops just so I can get a custom class in MW3 but I'm not sure I will need it now. Just got back from playing in Bootleg and I did my signature finish, using the stealth bomber to get the game over with. Suppose I could try and get the emblem for 1000 kills with that thing. Might take a year or two though...

Apart from XP is there any point to it for launchers? I suppose a golden launcher would be something different. Thought may be it they could use XP to make firing/locking on quicker by weapon XP for launchers. All the time I've played on this game and persisted with the Javelin when the Stinger is so much quicker. Looking back I'd have brought down hostile Pave Lows and Ospreys much quicker. I've never brought down a Reaper though. :/

I hate the anti-social language on the game though. I've never had anything directed at me, except some dude from the Midlands was, I think, trying to take the mick out of my gamertag, but he left. One guy wasn't pleased on my side that the rest of us weren't doing so well because he topped the leaderboard. I've topped the leaderboard too - we can have bad days, super lag, being a victim of spawn traps, it happens.

Speaking of Ospreys, what is the best collection of care packages anyone has got from using an Osprey? Oh sometimes I drop the flare down and a team mate is nearby, he hears the Osprey and he tries shooting it down with an assault rifle? Ummm guess he hasn't seen the mini-map....

Then again, on the flip side, I expect that you play game modes like FFA/TDM/Kill confirmed where all the noobs hang out? Not judging by your k/d btw, just your general posts in this thread.

Since when have the noobs been related to one game type?

If anything he plays FFA and Dom the most.
S&D is too easy for us when we play it

It's arguable that most of the best players do not bother with public lobbies but that's a different matter...

To find players of a slightly higher standard than FFA/TDM, I would most probably try Domo or SnD. Occasionally CTF but it's not played that much so there's more of a mix. Please notice how I haven't said that good players do not play those game modes; on the contrary, there'll almost definitely be a couple of good players in there but I just find that there are a much higher proportion of average noobs to good players in FFA and the like than Domination/SnD (not to say they don't have an overwhelming number of noobs, too just less so that the others).
