I didn't get the holding e-mail. That concerned me so I mailed them yesterday and they replied: The cast offers have just started to go out, and you should expect to hear from us within the next 2 weeks either way.

no holding email for me just the offer this afternoon
So of our 45 February auditionees, we now have 9 offers. 3 opening, 3 closing and 3 in both.

Now.. I've got lots of columns already in the spreadsheet for the Paras so some news there would be good!

Was just wondering  I haven't picked my date yet. Rather excited!

Nice! I applied late so didn't get a position. Oh I might as well enjoy the lovely weather when it arrives

I have a very excited little dancer who has just had a cast offer for the Olympic Closing ceremony.:rave:

CONGRATULATIONS!! So thrilled to hear your news and that of the others today. What a buzz!

Sounds like they are finishing off the casting of the Olympic ceremonies with men with rhythm and the specialist dancers. Can't wait to see the ballet segment of the ceremony.

Thank you to all those lovely people who wished me well today. As per the previous posters' experiences, the interview was very friendly and straightforward, and they are keen for more help. Apparently I should hear within a week, and there was a mixed message about whether it would be one or the other if I were to get a para offer. This stuff could start shortly, presumably before the para rehearsals, but I'm not counting my chickens ...

It was lovely going to the studios again. It was all very quiet there, a beautiful sunny day but weird to be wearing a skirt and high heels.
Wow - just checked in - congratulations to tinydancersmum, martelldance and Bowboy! Hopefully this will be the start of all the remaining offers to come in now. Interesting you didn't get the holding email - so keep positive all you out there still waiting.

Glad you got on ok. Good luck hope you get the job!
I am considering applying, not feeling positive about the paras, going to think on it for a day or so before the deadline closes!
Good luck once again.
Many congrats BowBoy and Martelldance - fantastic feeling isn't it when that magic email finally plops into your inbox!

I should go for it Cinnamon, we could be building up a nice little props team here !!
I will be happy to do that if the para avenue fails and props offer me a role ( although I'm now starting to worry that I've been waiting 5 weeks when they said it would be 2)

Congrats to Martelldance and FunkyBadger  - sure the para offers won't be far behind now..........

I have applied for props today ...well sent an e mail using the link . I want to be involved and would be happy to do anything not sure I have any particular skills.once I built a santas grotto with medical screens and four cardboard boxes ...it had a chimney and paper tissue flames!!! The usual guy who did the christmas fayre was taken ill on the day and we didnt want to cancel Santa so I just did it . Can't see the Olympic team wanting a DIY job ....but I'm willing to muck in
Congratulations Funkybadger

No you need to be able to click that link and if it does not work you need to phone the cast coordinator today on 02012402040. There has been a case in the past - see Tylergardener- where the guy forgot to click the accept buttion and just sent off the forms and he was then put on the reserve list - all resurrected in the end but after that we made sure everyone knew the importance of accepting via the button to the extent that we were advising people to click the button twice, the second click bringing up the message that you had already accepted.
