Finding GCSE's "easy" doesnt necessarily mean you'll find A levels easy. You actually cant compare the two, its a massive jump and completely different. Whilst revising you'll feel yeah this is pretty simple, then get to the exams. I know people with a string of A*'s at GCSE who found A levels VERY HARD.

I find it easy because I've learnt all the topics through further reading not just because 'GCSEs are easy'.

For example, in one of the chemistry modules about the periodic table (chemical equations, atomic bonding, elements, electrolysis etc...) I found that I knew most of the stuff just from stuff I had read myself.

I figured that I could teach myself some harder topics so that when I get to A levels, I'll find the work easy and the workload won't be as severe. I think I'm planning on doing six subjects for A level.
I think reading around the subject would be helpful. I'm reading 'In Search of Schrödingers Cat' and I think I have an edge because of it.
