Aw you're so sweet asking us how our exams are going, lol <3
I hate history essays too, that's why I didn't do history :P philosophy exams are much more fun
actually, the philosophy exams weren't too great... the philosophy of religion questions were awful lol! i had no idea what kind of answer they were looking for!! core was good though, but i had like a 10 minute brain freeze in the plato paper where I just sat there staring into space trying to work out what I was actually thinking and arguing... lol, whoops. but hopefully it was still a 6, which i can still get into cambridge with

Philosophy essays are interesting :yep:

I always stop in the middle of my essays  the teachers sometimes look weirdly at me  what were the religion questions like?

:woo: you'll probably get a 7 you... you philosopher

Lol, especially mine, where I have no idea what I'm talking about :')
Haha, yes, I was paranoid the invigilators were looking at me staring absently instead of writing, lol, it was a bit distracting... One of the religion questions was really bad, it was something along the lines of culture and how it affects religious language? literally no one I know did that one... the one everyone did was something like 'god's existence can only be proved by experience'... I think I may have gone off on a tangent about the ontological argument :frown: oh well... all will be revealed on the 6th july

Aw, thank you  I'm predicted a 7 and because I'm doing it at uni I'll be really upset and my confidence will be crushed if I don't get it :frown:
Erm, I didn't find it difficult, but that's because I found it really interesting  I think my year was just a bit unlucky with rubbish questions...
I've got english paper 2 tomorrow, and latin and biology next week  and then I'm done

You're still great at philosophy :colone: you'll be ok

Ah ok that's good  it's unfortunate that you got crappy questions though :frown:

:woo: :woo: :woo: I bet you'll feel great when you've finally finished  all the hard work should pay off :P

I might be in the position to apply to Cambridge next year :colone: but I'm not sure if my point score will be high enough

did you do philosophy of religion? i just hated those questions...
core was good though, i smiled when i opened the first page
yeah my set text was plato, yours? the question was worded really strangely, i sat there for ages trying to get my head round it...
thank you, and you too!

Oh I'm sure it will be! Don't forget, I got told that my predicted grades weren't good enough and I'd get rejected :colone: Do you have any idea what you're on track to get? What's your personal target point score? APPLY TO KING'S!! Only oxbridge college with 38 point offers, I'm the envy of all the oxbridge offer holders in my school

Drunk at 10 am

try to forget about your results when you've finished  It'll only do well for your sanity

My personal target score is 43 (ish) but I'm bad at English and history doesn't like me so I don't think I'll get that. Roughly... I'm on like 38 - 40 without bonus points (I hope) so I'll be on 40 - 42 with 2 bonus points. I'm not 100% i could come back and say I've dropped all the way down to 34 or something

Lol, of course, why shouldn't i get drunk at 10am??
I'll try  It's not actually that long to wait... compared to A level results at least... It'll just be really annoying if i narrowly miss my offer and then have to wait until a level results to find out whether cambridge has still accepted me, which will probably be a no, lol, but there's no point worrying about things which might not even happen
Oh gosh you sound like you're worrying about it too much, lol, it looks like you're going to be fine... 38-40 points without bonus points?? you're making me very jealous
Sometimes I start thinking about how amazing it would be to get 45, and then i think... biology...
I hate that subject. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if when results day comes I get 7s in everything, and then a 3 in biology
