AQA Grade boundaries question

Hi everyone, probably a really dim question (maths slash common sense has never been my strong point) but I can't figure out how the grade boundaries work....I've just done the january 2009 as biology past paper and got 47 out of 60. On the website it says the maximum scaled mark is 75 but I don't get how thats possible if the paper is out of 60? I tried dividing my mark by 60 and multiplying by 100 to get the UMS marks (I think?) and got 76 so thats over the maximum scaled mark so I guess thats not the figure they're using either...can anyone shed light on this?
